Leira Sumac from Middle World Healing will guide us through the foundations of shamanic drum journeying—its framework, purpose, and how to journey safely and effectively. She will be guiding with drumming as you embark on two drum journeys, giving you the opportunity to experience the practice directly and connect with your own helping spirit or guide. There will be time for journaling and reflection between journeys.
You do not need to have a drum, know how to drum, or even want to drum yourself to use this technique. I will be drumming during the event and recordings are available online for continued practice.
Group size is limited to 5 participants to ensure a spacious and supported experience.

Where: Lady Layre, 5600 Morganford Rd, St Louis, MO 63116
Lady Layre is a welcoming metaphysical shop and community space in South St. Louis. I've found it to be a warm, grounded environment that supports this kind of inner work.
Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to settle in. The door will be locked at 6:30 pm once we begin to ensure a peaceful, uninterrupted experience for everyone. Due to the limited size of this group, refunds are not available. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to someone else.
Please dress comfortably and bring a notebook and water. Comfortable chairs will be provided for seating. You are welcome to bring anything that supports your comfort during the session, such as an eye mask or blanket.
One of my favorite parts of this work is holding space for people as they discover or deepen their connection with their own guidance.
