The Creativity Satchel is a handcrafted herbal charm bag blended with deep intention, calling upon the energy of Goddess Danu and the Tuatha Dé Danann (TOO-ah-day Deh-nan) — the ancient divine beings of Irish mythology, revered as masters of magick, written word, and inspired craftsmanship.

Danu, the great mother goddess, brings feminine calm, love, and nurturing energy to this otherwise very active bunch. When called upon during the creation of this satchel, her presence — and that of her tribe — arrived as a warm, loving flurry of productive and helpful energy. These are gods of creativity, and they show up for it.

The planetary energies of Uranus and Neptune were also woven into this blend — Uranus as the Awakener, the voice of the rebel and the intuitive, pushing us out of conformity and into our own unique expression; and Neptune as the dreamer, the visionary, the one who dissolves our inhibitions and reminds us there is no wrong way to create.

A Note on the Gods

There is some scholarly debate about whether Goddess Danu existed as a named deity — there is no surviving literature directly about her, only the suggestion of her existence through the tribe she is said to have created. Either way, she is honored here. Her energy is real, her presence is felt, and this satchel was made with her — and her very creative, very powerful tribe — called in with gratitude and permission.
